Grey's Anatomy Season 10
Overview
Season ten opens in the wreckage of a superstorm — the hospital flooded, doctors injured, one of their own lost — and it never really slows down from there. This is a farewell season in disguise, and everyone who knows the show knows whose goodbye is coming, which gives Cristina and Meredith's friendship a bittersweet charge all year: two brilliant surgeons realising their lives are pulling them in different directions. Around that central story, Grey Sloan Memorial is its usual beautiful mess. Callie and Arizona's marriage cracks under the weight of betrayal, April's wedding day takes a turn so dramatic it had viewers screaming at their TVs, Bailey battles her own mind, and Cristina produces research so good it lands her in an awards race she seemingly can't win. There's also a boardroom fight over the hospital's future, and Alex finally getting some happiness, which feels long overdue. Not every storyline lands — a few romances fizzle — but at its best, season ten captures what made people fall for this show in the first place: medicine as a backdrop for messy, funny, heartbreaking human lives, with one era quietly ending.
