Overview
Grey's Anatomy Season 1 is the first season of ABC's long-running medical drama. The first season follows the lives of surgical interns and their supervisors at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital. The first season introduces the main characters: Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), the protagonist; Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh), a brilliant, competitive intern; Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl), a former model; Alex Karev (Justin Chambers), a cocky, arrogant intern; George O'Malley (T.R. Knight), a kind, insecure intern; and Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson), the tough, no-nonsense resident. The first season is a dramatic, emotional, and compelling medical drama.
