Overview

Taormina, Sicily, and the White Lotus resort's newest guests: Tanya McQuoid (Jennifer Coolidge), now married; Portia (Haley Lu Richardson), her assistant; Ethan (Will Sharpe) and Harper (Aubrey Plaza), a married couple; Cameron (Theo James) and Daphne (Meghann Fahy), a wealthy, charismatic couple; and two Italian sex workers. The season explores infidelity, desire, and the battle of the sexes, with the show's satirical eye on wealth and want. It ends with multiple deaths, including Tanya's — and with the resort's paradise looking exactly as rotten as it always was. The resort's luxury is the satire's target: wealth on display, desire underneath, and violence waiting at the edges.
