Peaky Blinders Season 6

Overview

Set in 1933, the final season finds Tommy trying to destroy Oswald Mosley and his fascist movement — while dealing with the aftermath of Aunt Polly's death. It is a meditation on grief, guilt and the cost of power: Tommy is diagnosed with a terminal illness, a tuberculoma, which may be real or psychosomatic. The season is also about what power has left of Tommy: a man who has survived enemies, wars and his own family, now facing an illness that may be in his body or in his mind. The season ends with Tommy faking his own death and retiring from the criminal life, burning his caravan and riding away on a white horse. The story will continue in a film, The Immortal Man.
