The Sopranos Season 2

Overview

Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) is dealing with the fallout from his mother's death — and with a new problem fresh out of prison: Richie Aprile (David Proval), a violent, unpredictable mobster from New York who doesn't respect the way Tony runs things. Richie clashes with Tony at every turn, and the tension builds the way it always does in this family: toward violence. Meanwhile Janice Soprano (Aida Turturro), Tony's sister, returns to New Jersey, adding another fault line to an already cracking family. The season ends the way Tony's problems usually end — with Tony killing Richie to protect his nephew Christopher.
