The Sopranos Season 4

Overview

This is the season Tony Soprano's marriage starts to break for real. Carmela (Edie Falco) is tired — of the infidelity, of the criminal life, of the lies — and she asks Tony for a separation. The season sits with that fracture, watching two people who built a life together realize they may not survive it. Around them, Johnny Sack (Vincent Curatola), underboss of the Lupertazzi crime family, rises as a major player, adding pressure from outside the family to the pressure inside it. It ends with Carmela asking Tony for a divorce — and the Sopranos' home life looking as dangerous as the business.
