Parenthood Season 1

Overview

The Braverman family of Berkeley, California — large, extended, and held together by love and argument in equal measure. Based on the 1989 film, the season introduces the family and their struggles, one household at a time. Warm, funny, and emotional, it's a family drama that earns its feelings honestly. It ends with the family coming together to support each other — which, for the Bravermans, is both the simplest thing and the hardest. The Bravermans argue, forgive, and show up for each other — the season's rhythm is family life itself, messy and warm and real, and the family's coming together at the end is earned, not given.
