Overview

Outlander Season 1 is the first season of Starz's historical drama romance series, based on the novel series by Diana Gabaldon. The first season follows Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe), a former World War II nurse who is transported back in time to 1743 Scotland. She falls in love with a Scottish warrior, Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan). The first season is a sweeping, romantic, and epic historical drama. The season ends with Claire choosing to stay in the past with Jamie.
