Lost Season 6

Overview

The final season runs on two timelines: one where the survivors are still on the island, and one where they never crashed at all. That second timeline — the "flash-sideways" — turns out to be a kind of purgatory, where the survivors wait to move on together. On the island, they confront the Man in Black, the smoke monster who wants to destroy the island itself. The final episode, "The End," brings both timelines together in a deeply emotional conclusion: the survivors reunite in the flash-sideways, remember their lives, and move on together into the light — an ending that treats the island not as a puzzle to be solved, but as the place that made them who they are.
