Overview

Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) is the Devil, and he's bored. Bored of Hell, unhappy with the job, he moves to Los Angeles, opens a nightclub, and becomes a consultant to the LAPD — because nothing fascinates him more than human desire and punishment. Based on the DC Comics character, the season builds its world case by case: the Devil solving crimes, asking mortals what they really want, and learning that free will is messier than he expected. It ends with Lucifer showing his devil face to his therapist, Linda — and with the question of who he really is suddenly wide open.
