Homeland Season 5

Overview

Two years after the fourth season, Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) is in Berlin, working for a private security firm and trying to live outside the spy world. A journalist leaking classified documents drags her back in — and the season becomes a tense, suspenseful, relevant thriller about surveillance, government secrecy, and who gets to decide what the public knows. Carrie ends the season on the run with her daughter, and the show's question follows her: can you ever actually leave this life behind? Berlin gives the season a colder, sharper edge than anything before it. The documents change everything and nothing: the secrets are out, but the people chasing them are still the same people, with the same blind spots.
