Line of Duty Season 1

Overview

AC-12 is the British police's anti-corruption unit, and its job is investigating its own. The season follows Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) and Detective Constable Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure) as they turn their attention to Detective Inspector Tony Gates (Lennie James) — popular, successful, and suspected of corruption. Tense, suspenseful, and gripping, it's a thriller built out of interviews, paperwork, and the slow realization that the person across the table might be lying. The season's power is its patience: corruption, here, is a process, not a moment. AC-12's work is slow by design: interviews, paperwork, and the long game of catching liars in their own words.
