Fallout Season 1
Overview
In 2077, nuclear war ended the old world. The survivors went underground into Vaults, while the surface became a radioactive wasteland of mutants, raiders, and pre-war technology left to rot. Based on the video game franchise, the season follows three people across that wasteland: Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell), who has lived her whole life in Vault 33, a seemingly idyllic 1950s-style community, and leaves to rescue her father from surface raiders; Maximus (Aaron Moten), a young squire in the Brotherhood of Steel, a militaristic order devoted to preserving pre-war technology; and the Ghoul (Walton Goggins), a mutated, 200-year-old former movie star turned bounty hunter. Their journeys intersect across the waste, through a story about nostalgia, the American Dream, and what unchecked capitalism leaves behind.
