Overview

The weirdest superhero team on TV goes out on its own gloriously strange terms. In this final season the Doom Patrol face the Butt and the Immortus, sure, but the real fight is the one they've always had: learning to live with their trauma, their bodies, and each other. It's surreal, it's funny, and then it'll gut you when you least expect it. Absurd villains, raw honesty, and characters finally asking what their future could look like. Brendan Fraser and Diane Guerrero lead a cast that plays the bizarre completely straight, which is why it works. The finale brings it home with warmth and grace. Broken never meant beyond saving. Not here. Weird, warm, and unlike anything else on TV, it's a farewell that actually earns its goodbye.
