Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 2

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 2

2014 • TV Series • 80,059 views
Overview

Jake comes back from six months undercover with the mob sporting terrible hair and a confession hanging over him — he told Amy he liked her, for real, right before he left, and now he has to work beside her while she's happily dating Teddy, the most boring man in Brooklyn and a devoted pilsner guy, which Jake treats as the worse crime. Season two is where the show settles into its groove: the Halloween heist returns, Doug Judy the Pontiac Bandit pops back into Jake's life, and Boyle and Gina try to keep a secret fling secret, failing so upwardly that their parents end up engaged. The spine of the season is Holt's war with Deputy Chief Madeline Wuntch, and Kyra Sedgwick is perfect casting — their feud starts petty and turns genuinely dangerous by the end. Jake dates a defense attorney, Amy wonders if she's on the right path, Terry wrestles with whether to have more kids, and the bullpen starts feeling like an actual family. The finale nudges one beloved character out the door (at least for now) and finally lets Jake and Amy stop dancing around each other. Sort of. Warm, fast, and endlessly quotable.
