Overview

COVID-19 hits the news industry, and UBA is struggling: ratings plummet, the world locks down, and producing a live show becomes a daily crisis. Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) deals with the fallout from her on-air exposé — and a lawsuit from the network itself — while Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon) wrestles with her own demons, including her brother's addiction and her complicated feelings for her producer, Cory. The season explores the pandemic's impact on news and on the people who make it. It ends with the network sold to tech giant Paul Marks (Jon Hamm), and the morning show's future in new hands.
