Overview

Jack Ryan (Harrison Ford) is a CIA analyst on vacation in London with his family when he foils an assassination attempt on a member of the British royal family, killing one of the terrorists. He thought he was stopping an attack. He was starting a war. The dead terrorist's brother, Sean Miller (Sean Bean), vows revenge and comes after Jack's family, in Phillip Noyce's tense, suspenseful thriller set in London and the United States. Based on Tom Clancy's 1987 novel, it's the second film in the Jack Ryan series, and it turns a holiday into a hunt: an analyst who did the right thing, now learning that doing the right thing has a price, and that the people who want to collect it know where he lives.
