Overview

Neo is back — but he doesn't know it yet. Keanu Reeves returns as Neo, and Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity, resurrected and living inside a new version of the Matrix with no memory of who they were or what they did. Lana Wachowski's fourth Matrix film is meta, mind-bending, and visually stunning: a story about memory, identity, and the nature of reality, where the hero has to confront everything he forgot before he can fight the new enemy waiting for him. Jonathan Groff is memorable as a new version of Agent Smith, and the film plays with its own legend the way only a Matrix movie could — asking whether you can ever really wake up twice.
