Overview

Sister Irene thought she was done. She was wrong. Four years after the first film, it's 1956, and Irene (Taissa Farmiga) is living a quiet life in a convent in Italy — until she learns that Valak, the demonic 'crooked-necked nun,' has returned. To stop him, she has to travel to France and face the thing that nearly destroyed her once already. Michael Chaves' sequel to The Nun, with Jonas Bloquet returning as Maurice, is tense, atmospheric, and terrifying, built on jump scares and creepy imagery that know exactly when to make you look away. And stay for the post-credits scene: it sets up a potential sequel, because some demons don't stay buried, no matter how far you run.
