Friday Night Lights Season 1 is the first season of NBC's sports drama, based on the 1990 book by H.G. Bissinger and the 2004 film of the same name. The first season is set in the small, football-obsessed town of Dillon, Texas. The series follows the Dillon Panthers, the local high school football team, and the people in the community. The first season is a powerful, emotional, and realistic portrayal of the pressures of high school sports. The season ends with the Panthers losing the state championship.
