Overview
Better Call Saul Season 5 finds Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) fully embracing his Saul Goodman persona. He is now representing the criminal element of Albuquerque, including drug dealers and cartel members. His relationship with Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) reaches a turning point when she begins to participate in his cons and schemes. The season introduces one of television's greatest villains: Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton), a charming, terrifying member of the Salamanca family who suspects that Gus Fring is hiding something. Nacho Varga (Michael Mando) is caught between Gus and Lalo, desperately trying to survive. The season ends with Kim and Jimmy plotting to destroy Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian), Chuck's former law partner, as a distraction from Lalo's investigation.
