Percy Jackson Season 2
Overview
Somebody is poisoning Thalia's tree, which means Camp Half-Blood's magical borders are failing — and Percy's summer is ruined before it even starts. Season two adapts The Sea of Monsters, and its best gift is Tyson: Percy's cheerful, one-eyed little brother, a cyclops played by Daniel Diemer, who steals basically every scene he's in and gives the season its heart. While Clarisse (Daphne Keen) gets the official quest for the Golden Fleece, Percy (Walker Scobell), Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) and Tyson sneak off on a rescue mission of their own — Grover's been captured, and he's stuck playing dress-up on a cyclops's island, which the show mines for exactly the right amount of comedy. Expect sea monsters, a very rude encounter with Circe, undead sailors, and Luke (Charlie Bushnell) quietly building his army aboard a cruise ship in the background. It feels bigger than season one, funnier too, and Scobell keeps growing into the role like he was born wearing an orange camp shirt.
