Overview
The Night Agent Season 1 is the first season of Netflix's action thriller, based on the 2019 novel of the same name by Matthew Quirk. The series follows Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), an FBI agent who works the night shift in the White House basement, answering a phone that never rings. He is a "night agent," a low-level position that is a dead end. One night, the phone rings. He is contacted by Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan), a young woman whose aunt and uncle, who were spies, have been murdered. Peter is drawn into a conspiracy that goes to the highest levels of the government. The first season is a fast-paced, suspenseful, and addictive thriller. The first season ends with Peter and Rose exposing the conspiracy and saving the President.
