Iron Fist Season 2
Overview
Give season 2 this much: it listened. After a first season that got battered by critics, Iron Fist came back with ten episodes instead of thirteen, sharper fight choreography, and a story that splits its hero in two. Danny Rand is patrolling New York in Daredevil's absence, but his old K'un-Lun brother Davos can't accept that an outsider holds the Iron Fist — so he takes the power for himself in a ritual that leaves Danny broken and ordinary. Sacha Dhawan makes Davos more than a villain; he's a fanatic with a genuine grievance, which is harder to fight. The season also brings in Alice Eve as Mary Walker, a mercenary with two personalities — one sweet, one lethal — and you never quite know which one is walking into a room. Jessica Henwick's Colleen Wing gets a proper co-lead role at last, and her arc pays off in a final twist that points the whole series somewhere more interesting. Is it top-tier Marvel TV? No. But it's a leaner, tougher show than the one people joked about, and the Danny-Colleen partnership carries it further than you'd expect.
