Overview
RRR is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language epic action drama film directed by S.S. Rajamouli, starring N.T. Rama Rao Jr. (Jr. NTR) as Komaram Bheem and Ram Charan as Alluri Sitarama Raju. The film is a fictional story set in the 1920s, before the Indian independence movement. The film follows two real-life Indian revolutionaries, but their stories are fictionalized. Bheem is a Gond tribal leader who is fighting to rescue a young girl, Malli, who has been taken by the British Governor's wife. Raju is a police officer who is working for the British, but he is secretly a revolutionary. The film begins with Bheem coming to Delhi to rescue Malli. Raju is sent to capture him.
