Overview

Jessica Chastain plays Amy Loughren, a nurse who starts to realize that her colleague Charles Cullen (Eddie Redmayne) is responsible for the deaths of patients — and that proving it means risking everything she has. Tobias Lindholm's crime drama, based on the true story, follows Amy as she works with the police to gather evidence against a man who hides in plain sight, behind scrubs and a soft voice. Tense, suspenseful, and chilling, it's a film about the banality of evil: how a killer can look like the most ordinary person in the room. Redmayne is chillingly understated, and Chastain is powerful as the nurse who decides to stop him.
