The Defenders
Overview
The Defenders is a 2017 superhero television miniseries created by Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez for Netflix, bringing together the heroes of the Marvel Netflix series: Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones). The miniseries follows the four heroes as they team up to fight a new threat, the Hand, a ninja organization. The miniseries ends with Daredevil sacrificing himself to save the others, but he is later revealed to be alive.
