Boy Kills World
Overview
In a dystopian city ruled by a murderous family, a deaf young man raised for revenge is about to settle the score, one spectacular fight at a time. Bill Skarsgard plays Boy, who lost his family to the Van der Koy clan and was raised by a mysterious shaman who trained him into a deadly assassin. Guided by the voice of his dead sister, he launches a rampage through the family's empire, taking them down in increasingly wild and inventive ways. Hyper-stylized and gleefully over the top, the film plays like a video game brought to life, with bone-crunching action, dark humour, and a visual style all its own. Under the chaos is a simple, driving story of grief turned to fury. Loud, bloody, and wildly entertaining, this never slows down long enough to catch its breath. Exactly what it promises.
