Bones Season 3

Overview

Shorter than other seasons because of the writers' strike, but no less intense: the Gormogon storyline gives the season its spine — a serial killer who eats the bones of his victims. Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) chase a killer who treats murder as ritual, and the season stays tense, suspenseful, and compelling to the end. It closes with a loss inside the team: the death of squintern Zack Addy (Eric Millegan), and a lab that will never quite feel the same. The Gormogon case is the season's spine, but its shadow falls on everyone: a killer who treats murder as ritual forces the team to ask what ritual means to them.
