Overview
Belfast is a 2021 coming-of-age drama film written and directed by Kenneth Branagh, based on his own childhood in Belfast, Northern Ireland, during the late 1960s. The film follows a young boy, Buddy (Jude Hill), as he navigates the tumult of the Troubles. His family is Protestant, and they live in a mixed neighborhood.
