Overview
Succession Season 4 is the fourth and final season of HBO's acclaimed satirical drama, concluding the story of the Roy family and their battle for control of Waystar RoyCo. The season picks up after the shocking death of Logan Roy (Brian Cox) in the third episode, "Connor's Wedding," which is widely considered one of the greatest episodes of television ever made. The remaining siblings — Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Shiv (Sarah Snook), and Roman (Kieran Culkin) — must grapple with their father's death and their own futures. They initially unite against the GoJo deal, but they quickly turn on each other. Shiv betrays her brothers and sides with her husband, Tom Wambsgans (Matthew Macfadyen). The series finale, "With Open Eyes," sees the Roy children lose control of the company to Tom, who has become the new CEO. Kendall is left broken and suicidal. Succession Season 4 won numerous awards, including the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series. It is a masterpiece of television, a savage, funny, and heartbreaking portrait of a family torn apart by greed.
