Overview

This time, the protector is the suspect. Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) is framed for an assassination attempt on the President (Morgan Freeman), and he has to go on the run to find the real assassins and clear his name. Ric Roman Waugh's third Has Fallen film is a tense, action-packed thriller set in the American wilderness, with a memorable performance by Nick Nolte as Mike's estranged father — the one person who might understand what it's like to be hunted by your own country. Banning spent his career taking bullets for the President; now he has to prove he didn't try to put one in him, while the people who framed him close in.
