The Expanse Season 4

Overview

Ilus is a new planet, and the Rocinante crew is sent to investigate a conflict there between Belter settlers and a corporation. The season slows down and goes character-driven: the frontier isn't just a place, it's a dispute over who belongs and who profits. Slower, more intimate than the seasons before it, it ends with a new, mysterious threat introduced — and with Ilus proving that new worlds bring old problems with them. Ilus tests everyone who lands on it: settlers who want a home, a corporation that wants profit, and a crew caught between them. The slower pace is the point — this is a frontier story, where the conflict is over land itself.
