Overview
A fourteen-year-old girl goes out one night in Victoria, British Columbia, and never comes home. A town is left to face what its teenagers are capable of. Based on the true story of Reena Virk, this series follows the investigation into her murder and the trial that follows, tracing a dark world of teenage friendships, cruelty, and longing to belong. Riley Keough plays Rebecca Godfrey, a writer who returns to her hometown to try to understand what happened, while Lily Gladstone plays the police officer determined to find the truth. Vritika Gupta brings Reena to life with heartbreaking warmth, so the loss at the center is never abstract.
