Talk to Me
Overview
A ceramic hand, a party trick, and one rule: say "talk to me," hold on, and let go within 90 seconds — or the spirit can possess you. In suburban Australia, a group of teenagers discover a hand that lets them see and communicate with the dead, and they use it for parties, getting high on the thrill of possession. Mia (Sophie Wilde), a teenage girl grieving the death of her mother, becomes addicted to that feeling of connection, hoping to contact her mother, alongside her younger brother Riley (Joe Bird) and best friend Jade (Alexandra Jensen). Mia holds the hand for too long and becomes possessed by a malevolent spirit. It is a terrifying, intense, emotionally devastating horror story about grief, addiction, and the dangers of seeking connection with the dead — because when you're grieving, even a dangerous connection can feel better than none at all.
