Overview

The Clades are legends — a family of explorers famous for going where no one else will. Their next expedition goes somewhere stranger than anywhere they've been: a mysterious, subterranean world beneath their feet, where the survival of their city depends on what they find. Don Hall's animated adventure from Walt Disney Animation Studios is visually stunning, imaginative, and action-packed, following three generations of one family as they argue, reconcile, and explore together. It's a story about family and legacy, and about protecting the environment that keeps you alive — with Disney's first openly gay teenage protagonist among the crew. Some worlds you discover. This one discovers the family.
