Overview
Sherlock Season 1 is the first season of BBC's crime drama, based on the Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The first season is set in modern-day London. The series stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes, a brilliant, sociopathic consulting detective, and Martin Freeman as Dr. John Watson, a former army doctor who becomes his friend and chronicler. The first season is a fast-paced, witty, and clever update of the classic stories. The first season ends with Sherlock meeting his arch-nemesis, Moriarty.
