Overview
After centuries of fetching victims and cleaning up messes, Renfield is ready to quit his job. Only problem? His boss is Dracula. Nicholas Hoult plays Renfield, the exhausted, codependent servant of the Prince of Darkness, played with gleeful, over-the-top menace by Nicolas Cage. Tired of the abuse, Renfield slips away to New Orleans, joins a support group for people in toxic relationships, and starts imagining a normal life. Then a traffic cop crosses his path, and Dracula comes calling with bloody consequences. Gory, funny, and knowingly absurd, this treats a legendary monster story like a workplace breakup.
