The Lost City
Overview
She writes about adventure, he poses for the covers, and neither of them is remotely prepared for the real thing. Reclusive romance novelist Loretta Sage is on a book tour when eccentric billionaire Abigail Fairfax kidnaps her, convinced she can decode the clue to a fabled lost city. Her only hope is Alan, the handsome cover model who has played the hero in her books but never actually been one. What follows is a breezy, jungle-set romp full of booby traps, banter, and gloriously silly heroics, in the spirit of classic adventure romances. Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum have wonderful comic chemistry, and a scene-stealing cameo adds extra sparkle. Light, funny, unashamedly escapist — the perfect pick for a feel-good movie night. Leave your brain at the door. Enjoy.
