Overview

A famous novelist dies on the night of his 85th birthday, and nearly everyone in the house looks guilty. At first Harlan Thrombey's death is ruled a suicide. Then Benoit Blanc turns up — Daniel Craig, Southern drawl, big dramatic flair, hired by someone anonymous — and starts interviewing the whole dysfunctional family, one by one. At the center of it sits Marta Cabrera, Harlan's nurse, played by Ana de Armas. She's kind, she works hard, and she vomits whenever she lies, which makes keeping secrets a real problem. The film keeps flipping what you think you know, turning a classic whodunit inside out with wit and a sharp eye for family greed. Clever, funny, and it plays fair while still surprising you. You'll want to watch it twice.
