Overview
The Gilded Age Season 2 continues the story of the conflict between old money and new money. The Russell family is now firmly established in New York society, but they still face opposition from the old guard. Marian Brook is trying to find her place in the world, and she is exploring a career as a teacher. The second season also introduces new characters, including a wealthy widow who becomes a rival to Bertha Russell. The second season ends with the Russells continuing to rise in society, and Marian finding her own path.
